Product overview
• ZQM3T series circuit breakers can work normally under the ambient temperature of- 25°C to+70℃, and the ambient temperature for storage is – 40°C to+70°C. The thermal element of circuit breaker with thermal magnetic release is set at+40℃.
• When the temperature is lower or higher than+40°C , the limit value of the thermal trip door of the circuit breaker with the same setting will change. See the relevant chapters of this volume for details. The performance of microprocessor overcurrent release will not change with the temperature, but when the temperature is higher than+40°C , it is necessary to consider the heating phenomenon on the copper part of the circuit breaker with phase current flowing, and the maximum setting value of overload protection function (L function) needs to be reduced, see relevant chapters of this volume for details.
• According to the relevant operating and storage environment requirements of IEC 60947-1 and GB14287, the normal allowable operating temperature environment range of low-voltage circuit breaker is -5°C to+70°C. If the actual operating conditions exceed the range specified in the standard, please consult Zhongqiao Electric.
• The performance of the circuit breaker cannot be guaranteed when the temperature is higher than +70°C.
• In order to ensure the continuity of power equipment operation, it is necessary to consider how to maintain the temperature at the temperature at which all equipment can work normally, rather than only consider the operating temperature of the circuit breaker. If necessary, strong ventilation should be taken in the switch cabinet and equipment room.

Altitude
The performance of ZQM3T circuit breaker will not change at an altitude below 2000 meters. When the altitude exceeds 2000 meters, the composition, insulation performance,cooling performance and pressure in the atmosphere will change, so the circuit breaker will be derated.These changes can be reflected by measuring those important parameters. Example:maximum working voltage, rated uninterrupted current.

Electromagnetic compatibility
The use of electronic release and residual current release can make the release avoid false release caused by electronic equipment, atmospheric interference or discharge.And it will not interfere with the surrounding electronic equipment. This is in accordance with the provisions of IEC60947-2 Annex F and the relevant standards of electromagnetic compatibility in European Directive 89/336.
